Your Real Estate Advisor an Amateur Equestrian

I’m a real estate advisor that is also an equestrian. I have owned, boarded and competed my horses for the past twenty years in the area. After a small break I am excited to get back in the show ring with my new young horse in 2024. Horses are my hobby but real estate is my career. As a real estate advisor my commitment is to make the process seamless for both buyers and sellers. For prospective buyers, I'm here to help you find your dream property, whether it's a cozy home or a lucrative investment. I'll guide you through the neighborhoods, provide valuable insights, and ensure you make an informed decision. For sellers, my goal is to maximize your property's potential in the market, leveraging strategic marketing and a deep understanding of local trends.

Let's turn your property aspirations into reality, whether it's right away or down the road in the future. I help clients all over West Michigan including but not limited to equestrians, farmers, first time buyers, investors and those relocating to the area. Call me today to learn how I can help you or someone you care about with all things real estate.

I first got into horses and the equestrian community around the age of 11 years old and despite coming from city parents and living in a neighborhood I was hooked. By the time I was 13 years old by parents and I had purchased, Arctic Course, a young off the track thoroughbred gelding that I was certain I was going to be the next 4* eventer with. Well horses always have a way of teaching us don’t they. Arctic Course or Artie as he became known, needed a bit more flatwork before we ever jumped anything safely and I was bitten by the dressage bug. I groomed for trainers while also showing Artie in the Midwest and was a working student in Pennsylvania for a short time, never staying away from horses even when I went to college. The barn and time with my horse is what has always kept me grounded, focused and always striving for more. 20+ years later I still have Artie who is mostly retired now but teaches riding lessons to little kids, and have had several other young horses along the way, but always off the track thoroughbreds.

Besides my journey with Artie over the years, my greatest accomplishment with horses was showing Near Wigan or Wiggy, at the 2019 Retired Racehorse Project at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. He came off the track in April of 2019 in Lexington and only 6 months later we were back in his home state showing off his ability in a new career. Of course we didn’t win or place in the top ten, but it was truly a wonderful journey with him and such a special moment to be in the Rolex Arena. In The Key or Kiki, is my latest project and my first mare. Needless to say we are embracing all things amateur lifestyle, with matching outfits and accessories for both of us. If all goes well I look forward to showing her locally in the spring and summer of 2024 at dressage schooling shows and maybe a USDF debut in the fall if we’re lucky.
